I write to highly recommend Steve and his colleagues. Steve carried out alterations and remedial works to our Grade II listed house in late 2012. Steve was extremely professional and approachable throughout the works.
I found that Steve really listened to what I wanted to achieve with the works. He then presented me with the possible options for the best outcome. The work involved quite a bit of dust and mess and I was impressed to find that dust sheets had been not only put on the floor but hung from the ceilings to prevent dust spreading to other parts of the house! Every evening the house was left in a very good state and I was debriefed fully on how progress was going.
I cannot praise the workmanship of the alterations carried out enough, Steve gave me an excellent schedule of works and kept me updated on progress, he was also very collaborative over any unexpected problems that came up in the project, always supplying me with informed and well researched alternatives. We will definitely be using Steve again.

Steve has worked on several occasions to do repairs and general maintenance work on our house in Oxfordshire, which is currently let out to tenants. As we live several hundred miles away it is important for us to have access to someone who will respond quickly, liase with our tenant in a polite and courteous manner, keep us informed of what is happening, provide us with accurate quotes and invoices, and perform a thorough and professional job. "Steve has recently fitted a new kitchen into our 1840s cottage-style home. The building was originally part of a small agricultural holding and is typical rural architecture from that era. The kitchen is based in a contemporaneous single storey extension.
Unfortunately, in plan form the kitchen is a rough parallelogram, has a floor which falls approximately 100mm over its length, has an eaves line which intrudes into the room and wall surfaces that wiggle in and out like the donkey’s proverbial hind leg.
Shoehorning a modern kitchen into this environment was undoubtedly very challenging. This challenge was exacerbated as soon as work started by the discovery of a fractured water main one meter beneath the outside wall due to historic corrosion of the, original, galvanised supply pipe.
Notwithstanding these severe complications Steve delivered the kitchen we wanted on time within budget and to a very high specification (excluding the time and cost of finding and replacing the failed water main).
Steve contributed to the development of the design, solved un-foreseen issues that arose as work was uncovered and ensured seamless management of sub-contractors to facilitate trade interfaces.
I am happy to commend Steve’s service and workmanship, and would use him again."
